The Kentucky Horse Park is the location of this years National Championships. Not only will there be a full week of competing, they will be TONS of clinics offered by famous former Pony Clubbers and Olympians.
Each year, USPC holds National Championships. Members qualify for the National Championships through participation in regional rallies. This year will also have an International games Exchange where competitors from all over the world will come together.
USPC Championships 2010 held in Lexington, VA.
United States Pony Club held its Championships 2010 event July 29-Aug 1 in Lexington, Virginia. Our local region, Deep South Region, had 20 youth that qualified and competed in Championships this year. The competition was a 4 day event where pony clubbers competed against other teams from the Eastern US. Competitors from our region included Mary Allison Andrews, Amanda Austin, Bryant Austin, Casey Barton, Andrea Benton, Megan Benton, Julie Cunningham, Amber Curry, Haley Curry, Merideth Hebert, Claudia Hemb, Izzy Hemb, Lauren Leonards, Bet McNeel, Emma McNeel, Kylie Patterson, Katie Richardson, Kendell Richter, Jacob Roberts, and Abigail Wimberly. With many different events and categories, there are too many placing to list but all members upheld our standards of excellent horsemanship and placed very well. We are very proud of how well these competitors represented our region.
